With heavy hearts, the Carr, Eastman, Campbell, Weeks, Padmore and Thorpe families announce the peaceful transitioning of Mrs. Jemima Clementine Carr. This sad event occurred at her home in Gaithersburg, Maryland on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 8:44PM. She will be missed!

Her home was always opened to friends of her children, who enjoyed her hospitality. She will surely be missed by her Church Family, Ascension Episcopal Church in Gaithersburg, Maryland, where she volunteered with the Mobile Med Program and Soup Kitchen. She did not miss a Tuesday.

Jemima Clementine, is survived by her children: Richelieu Campbell (Martha), Reid Campbell (Phyllis), Magdalene Campbell, Cornelia Campbell Barnard, Welma Campbell Marshinini Redd (Donald), EvaMae Campbell, Rose Campbell, and Mondaymah Walters Trobel. Also mourning her loss her daughters Lyvonne Koenig, Theresa Geegbe (Henry), and Alida Delaney (Hanky).
